West Bengal government is going to start online applications for Auxiliary Nurse Midwife and General Nursing and Midwifery (ANM & GNM) entrance test. Selected candidates will get best government or non government Nursing colleges or universities of West Bengal state. WB ANM GNM Common Entrance Examination 2025

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board announced to organize the ANM and GNM course Common Entrance Examination for academic session 2025-26 on 29th June 2025. The exam will be held on various centres of the state and will be finished in a single shift. Eligibility Criteria

Applicants having 12th pass certificate form any stream (Arts, Science, Commerce) are eligible to apply for the ANM or GNM course. Individuals going to apply for the ANM or GNM programs must be aware of the important guidelines listed below:-

• There will be three round of counselling Allotment, Upgradation and Mop-Up.
• Registration fee for e-counselling is Rs. 500.
• Only female candidates can apply for ANM courses, while for GNM course both male and female candidates can apply.

Then from the new tab select Previous Year question and click on the option. After that download the pdf and can solve the questions.

Selection Process

To get admission for ANM or GNM nursing courses in government or Self-financing Colleges or institutes of the West Bengal, applicants need to first pass the entrance test conducted by the board. After that board release Allotment list as per the entrance exam score and availability of seats in the colleges and select the candidates accordingly. Then selected candidates need to apply for the e counselling process, and after that applicants are offered colleges and called for the document verification. Finally, candidates whose documents are verified successfully are offered admission to the respective colleges for ANM or GNM course.
