The NSTC IIPP Taiwan Internship 2025 offers flexible durations for interns, ranging from 28 to 90 days. This allows participants to participate in their internship schedule as per their academic commitments, with the program running from June to December 2025. Interns can begin their internships at any time between June 2025 and December 2025, as per their academic schedules of students worldwide.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must foreign nationals excluding those from Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Macau. Students currently studying abroad as an bachelors, master’s, or doctoral student. Applicants should have expertise in Taiwan’s major fields of science, technology, research, humanities, or social sciences. Additionally, proficiency in English or Mandarin is require, and applicants must provide proof of language skills during registration.

Internship Subsidies

Interns participating in the NSTC Taiwan Internship will receive a daily allowance of NT$1,000 (approximately USD 30) to help cover living expenses such as meals, accommodation, and transportation. The internship duration will held up to 90 days. Additionally, host institutions will receive NT$10,000 per intern to support the mentoring and research guidance provided during the internship.
