NABARD Student Internship Scheme 2025 Stipend Help
Interns under the NABARD Student Internship Scheme (SIS) will receive various financial benefits to support them during their internship period. These allowances are design to help cover the costs associated with the internship, including living expenses, field visits, and travel. Monthly Stipend –
Interns will receive a stipend of Rs. 18,000 per month. The stipend will provide for a duration of 8 to 12 weeks (2 to 3 months), ensuring that interns are financially support for the entire internship period.
Field Visit Allowance –
Field visits are an essential part of the internship, and NABARD supports interns with an allowance to cover the expenses.
- For North Eastern Region (NER) States is Rs. 2,000 per day.
- For all other states is Rs. 1,500 per day.
Additionally, interns are entitle to a travel allowance for the journey from the Headquarters to the field and back. They can claim up to Rs. 6,000 for travel-relate expenses, with reimbursement contingent on the submission of valid receipts, such as travel tickets or petrol/taxi receipts. Beyond these allowances, interns are also eligible for a miscellaneous allowance of up to Rs. 2,000 which can claim on a declaration basis to cover any unforeseen costs during the internship.
Total Seats Available
A total of 39 seats are release under the NABARD Student Internship Scheme 2025. This includes 34 seats across various Regional Offices and Training Establishments (TEs), with 5 seats allocate to the Head Office in Mumbai. Please note, due to the law and order situation, no applications will accept from the Manipur RO.
