Eligibility Criteria

ITBP Written Examination Question Paper Pattern 2025
The board will conduct the ITBP constable examination through online or offline mode (Computer based test or OMR based test). The written exam consists of 100 MCQs and each question carries one mark. The question paper comes in multiple language and the questions are asked from Physics, Chemistry, Maths, General Hindi or English, Reasoning, GK & GS, etc. The level of the question paper will be (10th, 12th and graduate level) it depends on the type of ITPB examination. Candidates will be given 2 hours to finish the examination.
Selection Process
It is not an easy task to get selection for the post of ITBP Constable, candidates have to pass through multiple examination and phases to get the job of ITBP constable. Here is the complete step by step process required to get selection in ITBP mentioned below:-
Physical Examination:
- Candidates applied for the ITBP bharti need to first participate in the physical examination. The PST and PET examination consists of height measurement, chest measurement (for male candidates only), weight measurement, etc. While the PEF consists of running, push up, long jump, high jump, etc.
Written Examination:
- Job applicants who pass the Physical test are shortlisted for written examination. The recruitment board issue admit card for the selected candidates and have to appear in the written examination on the particular date.
Document Verification:
- Candidates who pass both the phases written and physical test are called for the document verification process and all the documents uploaded at the time of registration are verified.
Medical Examination:
- Applicants whose documents are up to the date are shortlisted for medical test and after the body check candidates are selected finally through merit list based on the written examination score.
ITBP Salary Details
The central government offers good payment to the employees posted at Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP). The salary number may differ post to post, location including several other factors. Candidates posted for the role of ITBP constable are given Rs. 21700 to Rs. 69100 per month as per the pay level 3. Additional benefits like allowance, medical benefits are also offered to the service person.
