Eligibility Criteria

Intelligence Bureau Exam & Admit Card Date 2025

Intelligence Bureau Exam Pattern 2025
Candidates going to participate in the Intelligence Bureau written examination must be aware of the exam pattern which is explained in this post below:-
Phase I:-
- Intelligence Bureau exam consists of two papers (Tire I and Tire II).
- In phase I the questions will be asked from five sections Current Affairs, General Studies, Numerical Aptitude, Reasoning/Logical Aptitude and English.
- Each section consists of 20 questions and each question carries one mark.
- The questions will asked in MCQ form in phase I.
- There will be total 100 questions in tire first exam.
- The exam duration will be of 60 minutes.
- There will be negative marking of ¼ marks.
Phase II:-
- Paper II consist of descriptive questions.
- This exam consists of 50 marks.
- Exam duration is 60 minutes.
- Questions will be asked from Essay, English comprehension, precis writing.
Interview Test :-
Personal Interview test is the final stage of Intelligence Bureau recruitment which carries 100 marks. In this test candidates are asked questions regarding communication skills, candidate’s personality, personal questions, etc.
IB Recruitment 2025 Salary Details
The central government offers good salary to the candidates selected in the Intelligence Bureau department. Candidates are offered monthly salary from Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400 as per matric level 7. Apart from monthly pay the officials also provide additional benefits like HRA, DA, TA, etc.
Selection Process
Candidates willing to get job in the Intelligence Bureau need to pass various phases. In the first step candidates need to qualify the written exam which consists of MCQs. After that selected candidates are called for tire II exam which is descriptive in nature.
